The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation intends to launch a program of subsidized mortgage for wooden housing. This was announced by the head of the Industry and Trade Viktor Evtukhov.
According to the minister, the mortgage rate subsidy mechanism is similar to that used in the current program of concessional lending to new buildings. State banks compensate the difference between the market price and a preferential loan rate, which should not exceed 12% per annum. The maximum amount of the loan at the same time will be 8 million rubles for Moscow, Moscow region and St. Petersburg, and 3 million rubles for other regions.
