According to the "Open Russia" reports the Moscow's list includes just two notable names. There is elected person involved "Magnitsky list" of ex-head of the detention facility №2 «Butyrka" from "Russian Legal Journalism Association" and №3 Dmitry Komnov being in an Investigation Cell. At the same time, human rights activists reports that the prisoners have repeatedly complained about the beating them from the side of Komnov, who directed the organisation named "Butyrka", where the lawyer Sergei Magnitsky spent his time.
Stebenev Andrew is running from the interregional public organization "Society for the law enforcement, security and fire-prevention activities" in the POC, a previous defender of Svetlana Davydova, who stroke off his roles for refusing to appeal against her arrest and called the charges against her "unfounded."
The "Open Russia" also noted that in PMC running for many representatives of the All-Russian public organization of veterans "Brothers in Arms". There is no mention of any human rights activity on site of this organization, but there is a reference to the pro-Kremlin movement "Antimaydan".
The second highest number of candidates among the organizations associated with the security forces, is the "Russian officers", recently took part in the scandal photo - exhibition Jock Sturges. The leader of the "Officers" Anton Tsvetkov headed the Russian Federation on the safety committee in the Public Chamber of Russian Federation.
The author of the law "Public Control" Valery Borshchev, commenting the lists of candidates of the PMC, said about the candidacy of Dmitry Komnov. Borschev said that he believed that Mr Komnov shall not be a member of the PMC: he seriously violated human rights, being the chief of the Investigation Cell, he was involved to the arbitrariness that was accomplished over the Sergei Magnitsky.
