China's retail sales in September rose by 10.7% against the value of the same period of 2015. Thus, this figure was higher than analysts' forecast of 10.6%. On Wednesday, 19 October, it became known from the report of China's National Bureau of Statistics.
The ministry noted that the figure has grown due to increased sales of cars and building materials, sanitary ware and furniture, as well as on the background of a slight improvement in the housing market.
In addition, the bureau report says that industrial production in the country rose by 6.1% in September yoy. This figure fell short of the forecast of growth of 6.4%.
